Summary: Exceptional LCD plus PC monitor
Comment: Purchased a demo set from circuit city for $400. This is one of the best LCD displays that I've used so far -exceptional detail and clarity. The SD TV is better than my old 36" Sony Trinitron CRT on digital cable signals. HDTV with HDMI input from my hdr-hc3 is unbelievable with 1080i HD.
If the price is right, I'll get another one without hesitation.

Summary: Excellent TV for your kitchen
Comment: If you are looking for a TV for your kitchen or small room, this is an great choice. We have this in our kitchen and love the quality picture and sound. This TV has all the features that you will need plus - sleep timer, freeze frames, wide screen mode, zoom, and more.
We hooked this TV up to a HDTV cable box and the picture is stunning when high definition TV is on. Analog TV is good, but clearly not as well presented as HD.
The one item I wish this TV had was the availability to accept a HD cable card to avoid the cable box.
Still, this is a great TV and a good price.

Comment: This tv has the most beautiful picture, even very up close, in HD. I have cable with an HD cable box. The color is beautiful, the picture unbelievably clear, and I have no regrets.

Summary: Good TV, bad design
Comment: This TV has a good picture, but what you will not see is that it is a DC powered TV. So, you buy a low profile, flat screen TV only to have to find a place to mount the external transformer. Neither Sony nor Amazon mention this fact.
