Summary: Nearly 2 years and zero problems
Comment: Not sure if the previous reviewer has the 60" or the 50". The 50" PT-50LC13 (previous year) model is the one that had major issues with the lamp. This 60" has very few problems and a fantastic picture, even better than Sony. I've had this set for almost 2 years now and the biggest problem I've had is finding enough HD programming. Discovery HD looks fantastic and rivals some plasma's. I've had plasma owners tell me this. When I bought this set I researched many customer reviews. 35 out of 37 were very happy with it. The other 2 say they had some lamp issues. As I stated earlier, the LC14 model has resolved the lamp issues over the LC13. This set should give you years of enjoyment and of course no burn-in issues. It is viewable from deep angles on the side and in well lit rooms. It has 1 HDMI, 4 component inputs and a couple of VGA inputs for your computer as well. The set also has memory card slots (SD, Compact, etc.) for showing off digital photos. It's only 18" deep and weighs in at a svelte 101 pounds. 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720 resolution. Works great with a MAC from DVI to HDMI. Good luck in your search!
