Summary: Most TV for the Money
Comment: For [the money] this is by far the best TV I could find for the money. HDTV Ready, plenty of features with numerous viewing options. Picture is awesome even with only regular cable hooked up currently. Movie watching via CD's is incredible, especially compared to standard TV's. Having also just purchased a 20" Flat screen by Toshiba, I was convinced a 36" Flat was the answer until I saw the Panasonic. Enjoy.

PT-47WX52 is a 47" HDTV rear-projection television. It combines a nifty design and a high functionality with the comfort you need. Motion-adaptive 3D Y/C comb filter improves 1-line dot interference storing each entire field in digital memory and performing addition/subtraction processing with adjacent lines in the next field. The 3D-Y/C filter not only eliminates hanging dots but also works on diagonal patterns to eliminate the color rainbow effect in closely spaced patterns. Enhanced progressive scan doubler improves interlaced/progressive conversion quality and the quality of diagonal lines in a moving picture. Video picture memory allows you to set and retain separate picture parameters (Standard, Cinema, Vivid) video input. For instance, you may set the DVD input for movie viewing by selecting Cinema.
