Summary: A lot of TV for an EXCELLENT price.... Comment: Picture is fantastic. I have it tied to my 1.7Ghz Compaq D500 computer, ... , running a Xtasy GeForce Ti4600, w/128DDR. Playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein leaves one breathless. One or two points of contention though. I also mated it up with Phillips home theater receiver, 5 x 150 watts. The TV however, does NOT have cinema link on it. A VERY usefull tool for tying the stereo system and TV together....Controls can be cumbersome and the P.I.P. so far ONLY works with coax hookup, NOT S-Video. Im working on that though....Watching the Sci-Fi channel/sports with coax just [is bad]. S-video is the way to go. Manufacturers MUST find a way to P.I.P. with S-video.....So far BOTH of my nieghbors are looking into going the way I did.....

Enjoy a superior home cinema picture with this Philips 64" Rear Projection television. Combining multiple stretch technologies, CTI, tint correction, and more, this set responds to signal by adjusting saturation and correction levels for sharper colors and noise-free images.Using Delta 77/78 lens, the undisputed industry standard in optics, the high-performance lens system achieves more consistent edge-to-edge brightness and contrast with a dramatically reduced focal length - result is crisp, well-defined large screen images and slim cabinet design. Component Video Input supports advanced video input (such as DVD) for superb color purity, crisp color detail, and reduced color noise surpassing even that of S-Video! Removable Protective Filter provides substantial increase in visual contrast and prevents serious accidental damage to the delicate front lenticular screen. It's almost like having a full-time bodyguard watching over your investment. AutoSound Plus instantly optimizes sound to satisfy any program situation. Select from one of four factory settings including movies, music, voice, or personal with a variety of combination of ultra bass, treble, and automatic volume leveling to suit any taste.
